Her story

Nomsa's story starts way back

‘Nothing is impossible, simply find the solution’

Author of Entrepreneur Awaken with a Drive, motivational speaker and an award-winning entrepreneur. She is a Managing Director of Visit-Vakasha Guest Lodges (a company she co-owned with her late husband, Lemmy).

After having taught for five years she left to work in the private sector as an administrator for another five years. She has been self-employed from 1986 to date.

1985

Skills development.

Her first business venture was a Hairdressing Salon established in 1985.  The Hairdressing salon grew into an Accredited Hairdressing Academy and has impacted many lives through skills development.

1996

Creating more than 1000 jobs

Through Acona Cleaning Services, she has rendered cleaning service to all the power stations within Nkangala, former Highveld steel, Matimba Power station (Limpopo), The Ridge Casino and Resort.

2007

Celebrating its thirteenth year in 2020

Visit Vakasha Guest Lodge is celebrating its thirteenth year in 2020 and has grown from only eight (8) rooms to eighty rooms (80), three conference facilities & manages canteen/ Catering for up to 1000 meals per day.
